We are Schreiber High School sophomores who began asking simple questions about what’s being sprayed on our lawns. In learning that many common fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides—such as glyphosate, 2,4-D, and atrazine—have been linked to cancer, hormone disruption, asthma, and neurological risks, we founded Grassroots 4 Change.
Our goal is to educate residents about the health and environmental impacts of lawn-care chemicals and to empower our community  to choose safer, more sustainable solutions that protect children, pets, and local waterways.
